The sport is growing.
The standard doesn't exist yet.
Padel is the fastest-growing racket sport on the planet. Raydel has built the technology to standardize a player's rating based on their individual performance — built from every shot, across any and all platforms.
Raydel's analytics engine feeds and moves a player's UPR. Raydel has its own performance methodology — UPR is the collective standard the sport determines together.
A $3B+ sport with no performance infrastructure
Padel is played across 90+ countries by 35M+ players. Clubs are opening every week in the US, Europe, and Latin America. Yet there is no portable, universal player rating. WPR and NPR track fewer than 1% of players — club-level rec players have no standard at all.
-
No universal standard exists WPR and NPR cover professional and semi-pro competitive players only. The mass market is unrated.
-
Shot-level data has never been captured Existing systems record only opponent rating, set outcome, and match outcome — Raydel adds 9 individual performance metrics per match.
-
First-mover window is open now US padel is nascent. The next 24 months determine which standard gets embedded into every club, tournament, and platform.
The moat is the data
Every match processed by Raydel deepens a dataset that no competitor can replicate. The longer we run, the wider the gap.
First Mover
No universal padel rating standard exists. The first platform to achieve critical mass of rated players becomes the default — indefinitely.
Capture-Agnostic
Works with any camera setup — two smartphones are all that's needed. No proprietary hardware dependency. Zero friction to deploy.
Network Effects
More players → more shot data → more accurate UPR → more valuable ecosystem. Every new user makes the standard stronger for all existing users.
Platform Embedded
Once clubs and tournaments integrate the UPR Converter, switching costs make Raydel the de facto standard — not a product, an infrastructure layer.
Defensible IP
Six trademarks filed (RAYDEL, RAYDEL RATING, UPR, UNIVERSAL PADEL RATING, UPR PADEL, UPR CONVERTER). U.S. Provisional patent filed July 22, 2025.
Shot-Level Data
No competitor captures individual shot performance. Raydel's dataset — lob quality, volley accuracy, por quatro execution — cannot be reverse-engineered from match outcomes alone.
Built, filed, and live
From a U.S. Provisional patent to a live web presence to six trademark filings — Raydel has moved fast since founding.
